What is Give Miami Day? It's one of the nation's biggest 24-hour annual giving events, where Miami nonprofits raise millions of dollars through donations from the local community.

We know that money is tight this year, but if you can donate, your ~tax deductible~ donation will directly impact Brickell in a way you can see with your own two eyes 👀 and enjoy with friends, family & pets for years to come!

🚨 Miami's "oldest bar" is back in Brickell! 🚨 Who has lived in Brickell long enough to remember @tobacco_road_ ? If you have no idea what I'm talking about, read below 👇🏽

Tobacco Road was a bar at 626 S Miami Ave, popularly referred to as Miami's Oldest Bar. Records show that it first received its liquor license in 1912 and operated pretty consistently since then... besides when they had run-ins with the law during prohibition. 🚫🍺

According to their website, The Road "had survived several Miami land booms, Al Capone, Prohibition, the Great Depression, the country at War, deadly hurricanes, Mariel Boatlift, race-riots, cocaine cowboys, and the rise and fall and rise of South Beach."

Over its 100 years of operation, it was a speakeasy, gambling den, blues bar, gay bar, strip joint and Brickell's favorite dive bar.

On its 100 year anniversary, the land where it stood was purchased for $12.5M and the building was demolished in 2014, with a number of shops and restaurants opening & closing on that block & in its place.

The new location is on the corner of SW 7th St and S Miami Ave, just a couple doors down from its original location.

You probably already knew that there is a CVS inside this unique building on Brickell Ave, but did you know this? 👇🏽

This 8-story Miami landmark was built in 1965 by Architect Minoru Yamasaki, the same architect that designed the New York City's Twin Towers.

It was also Miami's first building to incorporate Solarban glass, one of the first coated glasses engineered to block solar radiation & reduce energy costs, which is commonly used in Florida architecture to this day.
